Waterfall Diffuser

The Waterfall diffuser is a lightweight, high-performance acoustic solution designed to scatter mid-to-high frequency reflections while maintaining room energy and natural ambiance. The surface milled face allows for additional absorption. Molded from expanded foam PVC, this diffuser offers a durable, impact-resistant alternative to wood—ideal for commercial studios, control rooms, vocal booths, and multi-use acoustic environments. 

Expanded PVC provides excellent dimensional stability and allows for precise pattern formation, resulting in consistent diffusion characteristics across panels. Its closed-cell structure also gives it a slight absorptive quality, helping reduce flutter echoes and high-frequency buildup without deadening the space.

Test Results

The Waterfall Diffuser is most effective at diffusing high-end frequencies. The engraved waterfall pattern and surfaced front of the panel evens echoes at higher end frequencies, while decreasing energy peaks from the first reflections. Most effective in upper midrange to high range frequencies, this panel will decrease harsh and piercing room acoustics. The PVC panel is ideal for fine tuning spaces where other acoustic treatments are present. Increasing intelligibility in higher voicings.

The Waterfall Diffuser panel increased volume consistency across frequencies above 1k when placed on the back wall of the testing room and led to significantly decreased decay times above 1k Hz.
